The silage packer ensures optimal compaction of grass and maize silage. The silage packer can be filled with water, sand, or molasses.
The Stego 400-PRO and 485-PRO are equipped with hydraulic folding side rollers and lighting as standard. These side rollers are approx. 100 cm wide per side, weigh 600 kg and can tilt down 12 degrees.
With the 200 and 285 models, the edge compactor can be mounted on the left, on the right, or on both sides. The edge compactor can be lowered up to 40 degrees. All models are supplied as standard with a tow point and rounded rings.
The new edge compactor is a new and effective addition that has proven its ability to effectively compact the edges of both grass and maize silage heaps in practice.
The Stego compaction roller with edge compactor keeps edges perfectly compacted. Sometimes, the sides of the heap are not compacted enough, and this is where the first losses often arise.
With our Stego, you have the option of an edge compactor. The added value of the edge compactor is that it compresses the top layer of the silage, thus sealing the silage better.
