In 1977, Holaras was the first manufacturer in the Netherlands to develop the ration feeder.
The ration feeder can be used for removing silage and feeding livestock with maize, brewer's grains, pulp, potato fibres, beets and concentrates. The ration feeder is supplied as standard with a three-point section, a thick base plate (6 mm), a spreader/stirring roller, and duplex chain and sprockets. The Walterscheid PTO is supplied with the A model
The feeder can be used for removing silage and feeding livestock with maize, brewer's grains, pulp, potato fibres, beets and concentrates. Short chopped grass approx. 4 to 5 cm long can also be processed in the machine thanks to an additional patented provision.
Holaras launched the ration feeder in 1977, since when these machines have become an indispensable aid for the mechanical feeding of all kinds of products on many livestock farms.
The standard version of the Holaras ration feeder is suitable for a tractor three-point linkage, but it can also be attached to a front loader, telehandler or forklift.

The cost-effective and sustainable benefits of electric manure mixing
Regularly mixing the manure for short periods keeps the manure moving and homogeneous. This can be done perfectly with an electric mixer. This prevents crusting, nuisance from flies laying eggs on the crust, the smell remains more pleasant, you have less chance of foaming and the manure is easier to process.
Renewable energy from the soil: The magic of beet processing for biogas production
In the search for renewable energy sources, alternatives to traditional fossil fuels are increasingly being explored. One notable player in this field is beet processing, specifically the conversion of beets into biogas.
