MCV has been a Holaras dealer for over 30 years and offers contractors and farmers a wide range of Holaras machines
MCV is a young, dynamic full-service mechanisation centre specialising in selling and maintaining tractors and agricultural machinery. MCV has 3 branches in the Netherlands, in the provinces of Drenthe and Groningen. The Valthermond branch has been a Holaras dealer for more than 30 years. Holaras machines have also been sold from the other branches in Assen en Groeve following their takeover.
We supply contractors and farmers with a wide range of Holaras machinery; slurry mixers, silage grabs, beet bins, silage spreaders, silage packers, and in recent years, mainly onion windrowers. We recommend Holaras machines to our customers because of their solidity and quality.
It’s not just the machines that are reliable; you can also count on the Holaras team. A deal is a deal, and we’ve always had excellent, fast service. The Holaras specialists share their thoughts to arrive at practical solutions. If one of our customers has specific requirements, such as a certain working width with an onion set, Holaras helps to find a solution. We then visit the customer together, or hold consultations over the phone if required by COVID-19 measures, so we can offer the customer the appropriate machine or option. It all works really well.

Inkuilen van voederbieten
Voederbieten kunnen los op het erg bewaard worden in de open lucht op een harde bodem. Of ze kunnen opgeslagen worden in een slurf. Daarnaast is inkuilen met (droog) gras of snijmais ook een optie. Dit kan met een Holaras bietensnijbak. Om bij het inkuilen perssap- en fermentatieverliezen te voorkomen, wordt een component (hoog droge stofgehalte) met voldoende voederwaarde toegevoegd, zoals (droog) gras of snijmais. Een mengkuil bestaat dus uit lagen gras of snijmais afgewisseld met lagen versnipperde bieten. Het perssap uit de bieten wordt in de kuil dan vastgehouden door een ander gewas. Bij het inkuilen van voederbieten worden de suikers omgezet in zuren. Bieten uit de kuil kunnen het hele jaar door gevoerd worden, omdat ze goed geconserveerd zijn.
