Fodder beets are an excellent high-yielding forage crop. They are also palatable, promote good rumen fermentation, and improve the fat content of milk. Cleaning and cutting the fodder beets helps improve the palatability and intake by cows.
The BRS 1250 beet cleaner/cutter is the ideal solution for ensiling clean, sliced beets with maize, or feeding them fresh every day. The beet cleaner/cutter is also ideal for creating finely sliced beets to fill the biogas installation to accelerate the fermentation process.

The collection tray under the machine keeps the yard and barn clean. The specially-developed cutting blade on the side ensures that the beets are cut correctly. It also makes the machine suitable for feeding beets along the feeding fence. The advantage of cutting is that it retains the structure of the beets as much as possible, and uses little energy.
