The slurry mixers are fitted with special slurry-resistant ‘dredger’ bearings. All types are galvanised. Individual frames, chutes and special designs are available on request.

The PTO driven mixers are supplied with support legs. Excluding Walterscheid PTO. The electric mixers are supplied with a switch box equipped with a switch for two directions of rotation, timer, emergency stop switch and soft starter. Excluding cable.

The ESG comes as standard with 10 hp (7.5 kW) electric motor and support leg.
The EMM comes as standard with 25 hp (18 kW) electric motor and support leg.

Tips for the manure pit

The last thing anyone needs during the muck spreading season is difficulty in pumping the slurry out of the slurry pit.

Some tips from Holaras:

The flatter the mixer is in the pit, the greater its capacity. This is because the working surface of the wing in the manure increases.
It’s important to regularly mix from the outset, to avoid any crust forming on the slurry and keep it homogeneous.
Always ventilate well when mixing. Open doors and do not lean over the pump pit.
